Biography

With an MBA, he has more than twenty years of experience in investment and financial analysis related to infrastructure (including renewables) and project finance in Africa.

He has advised multilateral organisations (African Development Bank, particularly in several countries), the European Commission, UNEP, ENABEL.

It manages the €80 million Moroccan Infrastructure Fund (MIF), a project led by major private equity players, international development finance institutions and local Moroccan institutional actors.

He was responsible for deal flow, and the implementation of transactions in several areas, including renewable energy. Similarly, Samir recently managed the African Energy Efficiency Fund (EUR 30 million).

He was also Senior Vice President of Theolia Emerging Markets and was responsible for the development of large wind farms in Morocco and analyzed wind and solar transactions in other emerging countries.
